Just next to the entrance of Happy Books (a nice bookstore at Paseo de Gracia), you find this admirable wall lamp, anonymously lighting your way and yet so ignored by passerbies unaware of its ancient beauty.

How can you not like that, it is possibly one of the most archetectural flourishes that I have ever seen.

Sorry, I should have the word beautiful inserted in my previous post, as in "beautiful archetectural flourishes". The work by Gaudi makes your city a league ahead of any other when it comes to interesting buildings.

You've captured such depth in this shot, Carlos! I love all the subtle shades of grey and the soft glow of the three torches. There is so much design we don't see in the day to day until an artist helps us see.
