Some Barcelona quarters have a certain aura, some kind of mood. That atmosphere can be perceived even in individual streets taken out of context, with no extra reference, just by taking a quick look, if you have been in that neighborhood before of course. The combination of architecture, people clothes or even the way light falls upon its streets due to their orientation towards the Sun, the amount of trees, or how high its buildings are, may be relevant to determine what part of Barcelona we are talking about in just a wink.
