Barcelona Sculpture: Figure Holding Frame at Ronda Litoral

© All Rights Reserved
Today I present you with another sculpture located in Plaça dels Voluntaris, a square at Ronda Litoral, the main artery that runs along Barcelona coast. Just in front of Torre Mapfre and Hotel Arts we come across this curious figure holding a frame and covered in brush strokes of vivid colors, behind, a long corridor of poles that once were festooned with the flags of all the countries participating in Barcelona Olympic Games. More than 35.000 volunteers took part in the event, thus the name of the square. Please, check the original picture, maybe you like it better. If you prefer more detail see the sculpture from a different angle.

i like the way u separated the colors and bw...really make the sculpture stand out...well done:-))
Funny how, all around the world, young men are walking around with their pants falling down. What does it mean, really?
>Thanks, it was hard to decide anyway.
>Hahaha, I should have told him to pull those up for the picture. It must be quite annoying when you walk. Have no idea about what it means.
interesting..almost like a real man
Hi Carlos,
Excellent idea... I like the perspective that give the poles, and the two people passing by... Great!
Thanks Pierre for your comment
Good work on this picture Carlos, you are improving your skills with PS, the artist who made the sculpture should be happy!
ps: So, when do we have bigger image format?
I most definitely need to go to Barcelona! Have never been! And can't wait really!
Nice use of selctive colour. Interesting perspective, the inclusion of the people really adds to the image.
Great idea to have the colors only in the frame!
>Thanks Kris
>Thanks Nuno, for all your great comments. I don´t know yet how would I resize them. Maybe in the future I use pixelpost or wordpress. As for PS, I am trying to make my best, though it is not that easy.
>Heidi, thanks for your visit and comment. I have been browsing your pictures and I think they are great.
>Rannie, I am glad that you appreciate my work. I repeat what I said, your new site really rocks.
>Oh thanks Nicola for your comment.
I like what you did with this picture!
Thanks Nathalie
