Crested Gecko or Rhacodactylus Ciliatus is one of the exotic animals you can find in Barcelona, well at least it is an exotic animal for us. This is not the first time exotic animals appear in Barcelona Photoblog: Exotic Animals in Barcelona - Marsupials and Exotic Animals at Las Ramblas

You are the same person that asked me yesterday about Geckos, aren't you? My friend, as far as I know there are geckos in Barcelona but I don't know which species are at large and which ones are exotic and you have to buy. The one in the picture was bought. There is a large market of exotic species in the city. Some are allowed and some others forbidden. I want to make clear that I am no expert. I just know someone that keeps some of them at home. I love their beauty and the way they show in the picture but I'd rather set them free I suppose.
