Also by Domenech i Montaner, the renowned representative of Catalan modernist architects, Hospital de Sant Pau is a small jewel frequently overlooked by tourists.
This is the ceiling at the main entrance on the corner of Cartagena and Maria Claret streets.
If you browse the labels you will find information about the architect and the Hospital.
Wow, that is absolutely gorgeous, both the photo and what the photo's of!
ReplyDeleteThe colours, shapes, and forms are all unusual but certainly a photographer's dream!

Hi Dean. I promise I will. I am going to bed now but will drop you some hints in your mail tomorrow. You are not the only one, in fact you are about the 5th or 6th to ask. I am going to copyright this. Just joking. In fact it was Nuno from Porto who first did it and then Edwin from Kuala Lumpur. I finally took it from Edwin and performed my own teaks according to my template (thanks Ed)
ReplyDeleteHi Carlos, I'd love to know too, so if you can do a copy and paste of the info you give to Dean, I'd love that!
ReplyDeleteThanks in advance
