Thanksgiving Musings From Barcelona, Spain

Thanksgiving Musings From Barcelona, Spain [enlarge]

"The Thanksgiving holiday was established as a national day of giving thanks and praise to God". I am going to take profit of the religious mood created with my two previous posts about Pedralbes Monastery, to show you this holy scene which was part of a small exhibition located in the cellars of the building. The light was dim but the small scale figures, the magnificent set and the illumination were worthy enough to photograph from a very close distance that excluded the framing and created the atmosphere to make it look almost real. Happy Thanksgiving my friends! Here are a bunch of Thanksgiving recipes just in case.

Very lovely photo! I wonder what she (or he?) is thinking about?

Well composed photo and nice control over DOF. I wonder if it wouldn't be better to crop the sky part off.

Thanks for the comments. I don't know chandlermom. I finally forgot on purpose to write about the musings. I leave that up to your imagination and crede.
I appreciate your review DPTed. Cropping the sky would be an option. Blue is not true sky and I was too tired to get rid of the vignetting on that corner. But I like the positioning of the subject and the combination of metallic blue with orange. Thanks again!

I like the sky blue - it may not be true Barcelona sky, but I have certainly seen the colour elsewhere. Usually before it rains.
