Wandering along Las Ramblas I found these rusty metallic objects obviously piled up there to be used by one of the many human statues, though this time I couldn't spot the artist. I particularly like this sort of metal Chucky with trumpet.

what interesting things you find!
ReplyDeleteoxide is a shape of art I enhoy so much. Its color is unique. I like the chair, for me it represents and endless hope.
ReplyDeleteGreetings from Perú
Maybe he said the hell with, gave up and is looking for a real job, one that pays money AND satisfies his artistic needs. :0)
ReplyDeleteTechnically, a really fine shot, so sharp, such colours, so different as a subject.
ReplyDeleteOxide, the formal latinate word, is so cold. Me, the kind of guy I am, I've always been a fan of the usual English word: rust. It is more easily & more commonly used for metaphor, colloq.idiom poetry.
A couple of song titles: "Rust Never Sleeps" (Neil Young; maybe that was just an album title?);"Diamonds & Rust" Joan (Baez) & a fab French one, "La Rouille" (Maxime Le Forestier)Such connotations for what kind of happens.........
great find...i like street art...cool used material and very creative:-))
ReplyDeleteInteresante naturaleza muerta metálica :)
ReplyDeleteWas this sharpened in software? It looks a little oversharpened to me...
ReplyDeleteAbhi, this was my old camera. More than oversharpened it behaves ackwardly. Blurred in the foreground and randomly oversharpened in the background. I see what you mean. Maybe that's why I chose it for the awful theme at Photofriday. Thanks for your sincere review.
