It's a cape gooseberry. Completely edible, with a slight cherry tomato resemblance.

dude next time eat it. it grows on you. after a few you will not be able to stop eating them. this is what usually happens at least in my experience....

ReplyDeletehi hello from France ,this fruit is called "Physalis " there are a lot of species ,some are edible and some are not !I discovered them not lond ago and they are very good and tasty !you can make jam and pastry with them.
