Casa Batlló: Harmony and Chaos

Casa Batlló Barcelona

An unusual sight of Casa Batlló, the famous building by Antoni Gaudi. I had already shown the modernist house in an older post, but I had this close up of the façade and I didn't like the blown sky in the image, so I thought to go and give it an "artistic" look with photoshop. In case you think I shouldn't have massacred the photograph this way, take a look at the original here. I had a good time though. As to the title chosen, I think Gaudi conceived this chaotic mask-like balconies using that harmonious perfection only complex mathematics can create but that sometimes geniuses easily produce using that mysterious inner inspiration you call gift.

Nice concept and photo. Gaudi's works have a taste of the choatic. But inside the choatic is the cosmic. I love his works.

Hi Carlos:

Thanx for your words, yeah, now we share the same city, but sometimes I think that Barcelona has too much to show, too much that we can´t imagine. You have a beautiful city, I always liked it, since I was a child. There is a big quote of charm here.

Sorry Carlos, I'm not sure that the infra red look does the building much justice! My wife thought it was a woman in her underwear (she's a starnge woman at times.)

Hahaha, LOL. Tell your wife she wouldn't do well in the typical "butterfly" spots psycho tests.I flunked them too. I was not on any hard stuff.-)I swear. It's just that there was a momentary lapse of chemical instability in my brains. Just joking. I got tired and followed my instinct. So I got this beautiful intimate underwear collection for next season.
