This is a Carpobrotus Modestus. A succulent perennial herb with flowers that can be pink, purple or blue. I got a snapshot of one of them to share its beauty with you.

  2. This is a beautiful flower. All its parts are perfect. The colors and petals are all designed for a purpose and we just happen to be attracted to the beauty in them. I really like your picture today.

    I hope you get to see the Rose-Breasted Grosbeak that came to Brookville, Ohio yesterday. It is the first one I have seen since we moved here 44 years ago.

  5. Thank you! I did have a good Sunday, going to the market to check out what we can plant in a new flower box that unfortunately has too much shade. But we'll beautify it as a response to inspiration from your lovely photo.
